Outside of the actual wrestling on the show, He is involved for ever single angle. Why?
BQ: What is the next step TNA needs to make to inch closer to the popularity of the WWE?

He’s not involved in every single angle.
However, he does appear a lot. One of the reasons is because Borash is the interviewer backstage, and most of the backstage segments are interviews with other wrestlers. He was also in the Christian Coalition/Angle Alliance storyline for comedic purposes, similar to Kevin Kelly and Michael Cole getting ridiculed by The Rock.
BQ: Have the younger wrestlers begin to transition into higher positions on the card and ultimately be more important in storylines. AJ Styles and Samoa Joe are moving up, but Kaz, James Storm, and Robert Roode need to progress into storylines as well. With the Knockouts going in their direction, all they have to do is push the younger people.

Because he’s from Minnesota, that’s why. I guess it makes up for the lack of major wrestling shows in his home state. He’s also the guy with the microphone. Apparently TNA doesn’t believe in using boom mics (either that or they can’t afford one).
BQ: Go live with Impact. No more taping two weeks before the show actually airs. Also, push guys like Storm, Roode, Kaz, AJ, LAX, MCMG, and Jay Lethal, and put guys like Nash, Booker, and Team 3D on the backburner.

I have no clue, its like he’s the little highschool gossip girl runnning around backstage trying to find out the gossip. I think they should only have him do 1 maybe 2 interviews a night..
BQ:Creat a midcard title. Eventually get another show.

EDIT:to people who say TNA will never be competition to the WWE, look back..WCW started off with just a saturday night show, everyone said they couldn’t compete with WWF, fast forward and you have the monday night wars where WCW is beating WWF in the ratings. it could happen with TNA

  4. THE BOTTOM LINE!!! on June 19th, 2009 4:02 pm

Your right, he’s like The Star Ledger or something, he’s always got a mic in somebody’s face..it’s a bit out of hand.
Just let the wrestlers do certain talking segments on their own…it’ll probably make the show a lot better.
BQ: They need to get a little more edgy like they used to be, and create characters but not dumb gimmicks…

    1) I’ve been to my fair share of TNA events now, and JB is a big part of the back stage happenings. He’s on the technical side, though. Setting up speakers, lighting, etc.
This may be what he gets in return. Recognition.
WQ: Network television. They were in talks with FOX a while back. What happened there?

They’re probably doing a publicity stunt using him as a main character.
A publicity stunt is when an unexpected event occurs, for example Vince McMahon gets in a limo that UNEXPECTEDLY explodes, and UNEXPECTEDLY comes back.

I dont know, maybe because tna can’t use better angles like wwe can do. it can be anything.
BQ: well first theirs marketing, better booking, and less gimmicks in my opinion.
Sorry my answer aint that good.
