The WWE is so much fun to watch but I can’t beieve the amount of people who think it is real. Even the owner adited in his biography it is all scripted out. His daughter is the main writer for Smack Down, and her husband is Triple HHH. It is all entertainment that is why it is so popular becuase the people in it are all playing a part, a roll, an act. I love the WWE but come on people you must know it is all a show!

    When I was 8 years old and reading a WWF Magazine, in it they had Sgt. Slaughter next to the Ultimate Warrior, literally standing next to each other. They two were having a fued at the time, and I said Dad how did they get the Warrior and Slaughter to stand next to each other with out fighting?
    My dad then back handed me and said because it’s fake, minus the back hand part, all of that happend. It took a little time to sink in, but I got the picture. I was more upset when I found that out, then when I found out that Santa wasn’t real.

    Yeah, you’re preaching to the choir. 98% of the people that come on here know that. I’ve known it for so long, I can’t remember a time when I thought it was real.
    Still, I think I might be able to see why you’d ask this question. There are more “Who would win?” and “WWE/TNA Fantasy” questions on here than any other type of questions. I almost always answer that the winners are up to the creative team and that it’s unlikely that the two wrestlers would only wrestle each other once. It’s not about ability, looks, or charisma; it’s all about push and fan response.
    Thanks for calling it scripted and not fake.

    I am glad you brought this up. I get so tired of these questions getting answers that imply the people obviously think it’s real. Alot are kids but the scarier part is alot aren’t. I consider myself a “smart” fan since reading spoilers on old Prodigy service and Bob Ryder’s columns back when I was 14. I get aggravated to think that there are people over 13 that dumb in this world. It doesn’t shock me though. Just go to most wrestling shows and you will notice the IQ level is pretty low in the crowd.
    Oh it’s true, it’s damn true.

    It is as real as a pro baseball or football game. It is not scripted. That is just an urban legend.
    It is real, unrehearsed and that is why I watch it!
