With Mick Foley as the new champion, do you think TNA wrestling is poised to give vinnie mac a run for his money, if not what would you do to improve the product?

Not anytime soon, at the rate the WWE is going and TNA is going though it could happen but not any time soon with WWE having Raw Smackdown ECW and Superstars it is too large to compete right now in ratings just against TNA, however if WWE keeps being PG it will lose a lot of fan base and if TNA is smart and become the attitude style that everyone loves it could happen.

Of course it does, but I don’t think that Mick as champion will bring in the ratings. I much rather see one of TNA’s young wrestlers like AJ Styles be champion or even Angle or Booker T, someone who at least has had more than 2 matches over the past year. I will admit though they keep their program fresh and always have new feuds.

Yes. TNA is becoming more and more popular. Sure it does not have four different shows. But, the show has more talented wrestlers. Why do you think that Bobby Lashely went to TNA? The reason he went there was to be challenged. I do believe taht TNA will become better than WWE. it just needs to reach out more to more television channels. Also, hiring more wrestlers.

Mick Foley was actually a big draw in the attitude era, didn’t he have the highest rated segment ever?..
But i don’t think he can get new viewers to TNA.. the guy is well older now.
Bobby Lashley will probably bring in some new viewers though now that he is in TNA..

I think on PPV. A Lashley vs Aj Styles match would be awsome. With the proper marketing campaign talking about this match, believe me those boring Cena matches will have no chance. I’m not a TNA fan but I think some guys there have a lot of potential.

Yeah, I can see that happening. TNA is becoming a lot more popular. I’ve even been watching TNA more than WWE lately. If WWE doesn’t do anything to improve, TNA is gonna catch up.

Since when was Mick Foley a big ratings draw ? The reason the Attitude Era was so successful had more to do with Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Rock. Not so much because of Mick Foley.

    Maybe.
2004 when they 1st got on TV they where pulling in a .9 They now get a 1.3.
It’ll take a few more years (5-10) but they could.

Not with Mick Foley as champ, but with sting as champ, eventually.
and TBH I think TNA could destroy WWE in ratings when they start a war!

No way but that doesn’t mean there can’t be a niche for TNA. If Vince continues with this stupid Orton story line, enough viewers may turn over to make it worthwhile.

No, I don’t think they even have a small chance. WWE is too strong and have too large of a fanbase.

Let me just say No Chance In Hell! they got no chance in hell.

if you asked paul heyman or eric bishoff they would tell you that tna has no chance in hell.

hell no. if mick foley influences ratings at all, he just brings them down. TNA doesnt stand a chance
