The guy should be at least at a mainevent level by now.
- His ring skills are almost flawless
- Mic skills are solid
- Decent gimmick and his own ‘look’
- Charisma

They really missed the boat with Covell when they kind of botched the Sting feud. I mean, it was culminated up into one match, a match that the Fallen Angel didn’t win.
Currently, I’d say he’s where he needs to be though. Triple X is back together, which kind of puts his career in park, but also gets him back to his X Division roots where he can prove himself to another new audience (pending that the 2 hour slot gained a new audience). If anything’s really disturbing me, it’s the lack of singles ring time Daniels gets. i can’t even remember the last singles match he had prior to this PPV, it may have been the Elevation X. It makes me wonder if something’s up with Daniels unkayfabe, because he hasn’t been getting any ring time lately, and considering TNA’s extremely overbooked, it’s a shocker that he’s not in at least one match weekly.
I’ll agree, though, Daniels was one of the first people I came to fall in love with when I started watching TNA, and from the crowd’s reaction to him back then, you couldn’t tell he was a heel half the time. He’s great on the mic, although I’m not digging the “Joan of Dark” gimmick they’ve given him. Seriously, the talk to god thing is original, but there may be a reason it wasn’t done before now. Daniel does it as well as he can, and he pulls off the gimmick, but it’s still not a favorite. The kid oozes charisma, but then again, so do James Storm and Robert Roode, and they’re floating around in Midcard Heel Purgatory. TNA needs to push their younger homegrowns in general before they all decide to go somewhere else to be pushed.

Most people are used poorly in TNA. AJ Styles is just Christian’s backup and “Pokemon Buddy”. Raven won the Heavyweight title and fell off the map. TNA is just to busy pushing the same feuds they had 8 months ago.

    That is true
He should be put in in better matches. He has amazing ring skills. He highflying and athletic abilities are great just like Jimmy Snuka. He has great mic skills and the crowd will love him.H ehas some of the best potential……………If he could be in a TLC match with Edge it would be the match of the year.

Daniels is one of many victims in TNA, along with Senshi, AJ Styles, Sonjay Dutt, Motor City Machine Guns, and so many others… Good athlete, really balanced wrestler, held down greatly after he puts on great matches with other wrestlers.
-He’s part of a group that shouldn’t be together
-His rivalry with Black Machismo is barely noticeable
-He sometimes doesn’t seem to be going anywhere with his character at all; his gimmick could be used so well, and all it does is give him catch phrases, though he’s over with the crowd
I don’t understand how he is always advertised as one of the many faces of TNA, but he barely gets into storylines or in matches on IMPACT.

No offense, but I actually think that Christopher Daniels is very overrated. I find him to be one of the most over-hyped wrestlers out there in the indies/TNA, and I rarely like his matches, but from what I’ve read, I’m not that supported in that opinion.
That being said, he’s a very good promo guy, and I do admire the guy’s love of the business, as he does like to help the younger guys in the company, and having met him, he’s a really nice guy, despite how much I don’t like his in-ring skills.

I defenetly wouldn’t say “mistreated”, but more “underused”.. He really should be in the main event.

Christopher Daniels should be competing for the TNA World Heavyweight Title but TNA don’t know how to promot there own guys all they do is bring in former WWE stars and give them everything or treat them like crap

TNA have tried pushing him twice now in 03 he had a main event program with Jarrett and earlier this year had a mimi program with Sting. (which i was actually enjoying to bad it lasted only 4 weeks) But i don’t know why they stopped pushing considering he is over and is amazing on the mic sometimes but atleast he is in a program over a title atm. Daniels is one of my favorites and i would love to see a Daniels/Angle program if it was booked right.
