first, if you have not done so already, get a college degree in business. second go to wrestling school to learn how to take bumps and to move around in the ring. third, if you make it to the wwe, expect to spend PLENTY of time in ovw or deep south wrestling where you will develop your character and learn to interact with future wwe superstars. hopefully, you are in good enough shape and remember all the little people who helped you get there and not be a jerk like edge lol.

If you want to become a pro wrestler you have to goto school for it. First thing’s first and you need to get yourself to a local pro wrestling school. There they train, condition, and coach you not only to wrestle physically, but how to have “ring presence.” You can get started finding a school by following this link. 2xzone.com has a pretty large listing of wrestling schools all across the US and Canada, as well as tons more pro wrestling information. Good luck!http://www.2xzone.com/conxtion/schools.s…

So you wanna become a pro wrestler, eh? Well it’s not easy. First off you have to make the decision that you will do anything to live your dream. You must have the heart for prowrestling. Saying your prayers, eating your vitamins, and training hard everyday helps lol. The chances of you making it to the WWE are slim. You probably have a 1 in 300 chance of making it to the big time. You live in Canada that is not bad at all. I know that there are many professional wrestling training schools there. Some are expensive and others are not. You should do some research . You can be the biggest guy or smallest guy but that doesn’t make a difference if you do not have charisma, ring presence, acting skills , and desire to succeed. You do not have to take acting classes, practice being your character. Developing a persona that people want to see is great. I know i plan on being a pro wrestler as well and I hope to see you there. Remember “Those bold enough to chase dreams, are the ones who catch them.”

Calgary is the wrestling capital of the world. If anything, you’ve got an ADVANTAGE being in Canada, because you have access to the Lance Storm Academy.
Your “chances” of making it in the WWE or TNA are only as good as YOU are in the ring. If you’re good, you’ll get noticed. Period. You don’t HAVE to take acting, but it certainly would help if you need it.
If you REALLY want it, here’s what you do:
    A) Get an education and a job. Wrestling’s not going to pay the bills. Hell, most of the guys in ECW right now are only making $500 or so a week, and that’s in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world.
    B) Watch as much wrestling as you can. Watch Ring of Honor’s Secrets of the Ring tapes with Al Snow and Raven. Those tapes will teach you SO MUCH that you’re not going to learn in school. You have to have a (screwed-up) mind for the wrestling business, and, with those videos, you’ll learn all the stuff that usually only comes with years and years of experience.
    C) When you’re ready and you find a good school, enroll in it, and make it your LIFE.
    D) Work your *** OFF.
I’m not sure how old you are, but keep in mind that guys like Roddy Piper, William Regal and Sean Waltman went pro at around 15 or 16. If you’re good, you’re good. It doesn’t really matter how old you are, how big you are, what sex or race you are. All that matters is that you can earn money, by having people want to watch you wrestle. I can’t really say this enough; if you’re good enough to “make it,” you’ll make it.

You have to train to be a wrestler. It takes up to a year or more. First you have to build you strength, go to a wrestling school, take acting classes, and work through wwe’s development, and then work there house shows then they push you to a wwe brand and have you start off on a earning to get a title shot.

Of course you can achieve your dream.Alot of wrestlers come from Canada (Trish Stratus,Brett Hart,Chris Jericho,Christian,Edge, etc). There are alot of wrestling schools in Canada.Just start training now and If you old enough try out in a local wrestling school. They should prepare you for the WWE and hopefully you’ll make It.I believe in you, good luck.

Okay, first of all, how old are you? Because, and I don’t mean this in a bad way, I really don’t, if you are younger than say 15-16, you have a LOT to learn before you can think about becoming a wrestler.
For a start, living in Canada is just as good as being an american when it comes to training. You only have to look as far as the Hart family, Edge, Christian, Roddy Piper, Rhyno, Lance Storm and so on to see the multitude of canadien talent. There are plenty of schools around.
Secondly, the chances of making the big leagues are slim. If you want to get into this business for anything other than the love of it (i.e Money, fame etc) then don’t even CONSIDER it. If you really do plan to go into it, be prepared for crappy/non-existent payoffs, wrestling in front of 10 people in near silence and some pain.
People can use the word fake as much as they please but the fact is, wrestling hurts. I wrestled last night for less than 15 minutes and I’m still aching and I will for another day or 2. It’s part and parcel of the job.
As for the acting, no you don’t have to do it. Some people have natural charisma so therefore don’t need the acting lessons (i.e The Rock, Chris Jericho, Roddy Piper) where as some people can have all the wrestling talent in the world but are boring as hell when it comes to talking and skits (i.e AJ Styles, Chris Benoit) Odds are, you won’t need the acting skills because those will only really be required when it comes to WWE, TNA etc, and like I said, the chances are slim. But should you ever get there, acting lessons would do you no harm.
You will need money. No good wrestling school is cheap and it may cost you a bit. Look for a school with either a reputed trainer/s or some graduates who have gone on to do something.
Maintaining yourself physically is another thing. If you really want to make a living out of it, a healthy body with a decent look is essential. Eating properly and working out regularly is another thing. You need good cardio, trust me.
Finally, be prepared to put up with a LOT of bullshit. There are too many people in wrestling with bad attitudes (i.e selfishness, bitter people that never ‘made it’, money grabbing promoters etc)
Now I know i’ve said a lot of bad stuff and some of it may put people off but to be honest, I wouldn’t change it for anything really. Nothing beats the buzz of stepping through the curtain and hearing people react to it (and so far, I’ve only wrestled in front of 60/70 people!).
I wish you all the luck in the world. You’re gonna need it!
    :)
