It already happened 2 weeks ago when he was taken out by the Main Event Mafia. Rumors are speculating he is returning to the WWE so they used the M.E.M. take out as a way to cover it up (they just lost Gail Kim to the WWE and didn’t write her out). M.E.M. gets more power in the storyline for eliminating Cage. Cage gets to jump ship to the WWE. If he does not leave, he can always return to challenge Angle and help lead the TNA “young lions”.
