How To Convince Someone That Wwf /wwe Wrestling Is Fake.?

Category: Q+A

I have a friend who is an ardent fan of WWF wrestling. He thinks it is real. No matter how hard I try, all my arguments fail to convince him that it is fake. His logic is: Americans make it, Star TV shows it, Americans watch it, and Americans cannot be fooled; therefore, it cannot be fake. Someone please give a sound argument and evidence to convince him.

Show him a documentary about pro wrestling like Behind the Mat or the Bret Hart story.

    I know they’re all fake that’s why I stop watching it .

I wish I knew the answer to that . My brother believes it real and gets mad when I tell him it is bogus.

WWE – World Wrestling Entertainment – The emphasis is on the “entertainment”, it is all for show! Tell him Americans know it is fake.

Hit them with a folding chair and see how long it takes them to get up from it.

Watch it with him. Point out the fake punches, rewind, again, again, again.

i love wrestling myself but yes it is fake …that is why they call it sports entertainment…the wrestlers are true athletes and the moves would probley kill an average person but it is rehearsed and planned..it is like a revved up soap opera..sometimes the people really do get hurt but it is still fake on the bigger scale..it is a blast though..gotta love it

Let him watch some of the UFC shows on Spike TV. That’s real, a little gory and bloody but quite real. WWF/WWE is real in a way, it is real entertainment, but it is not a sport or wrestling.

Just don’t waste your breath in such a futile effort. Just let him believe in his fairy tails if it makes him happy. It’s not really worth it.

rent it on dvd and show it to him in slow-mo then he can see the punches stop an inch or so from the head.or you can point out that a special referee gets knocked out rather easily but when the same person is in a match he can take a lot more abuse.

Got something to say?
