Was The Tna Impact Main Event Really That Necessary?

This Past Thursday I Was Watching TNA And I Was Expecting A Great Match Between Kurt Angle And Sting With No Interferences From The Main Event Mafia. Unfortunately They Still Interfered As Usual And They Ruined A Great Matchup. Not Only That But Were Kurt Angle And Sting’s Entrances Really That Necessary? Same With The Pyro. They Could Have Made This Match A Lot Better If You Ask Me. Your Thoughts?

No, it was lame. They still have Angle’s pyro with no fans in the arena.
    it was very unaprop
I thought the arena was supposed to be empty. Sure seemed like nobody told me or the two dozen security guards that.

The entrances and pyro were for US, those watching on TV. Thanks to Vince McMahon ALL wrestlers have to have big entrances now, even for run-ins.
The fight was supposed to be just two guys beating on each other to get their anger toward each other out. It wasn’t about a “winner” and a “loser”.
The rest of the MEM let them beat on each other a while then interfered to keep Sting from killing Angle. There was no conclusion to the fight because it’s purpose was to build some hype for a PPV TNA title-showdown between these two, and to keep us wondering and speculating, is this the end of the MEM? Who will Nash and the rest side with? The winner will be the leader of the MEM and TNA Champ, but what will happen to the loser?
The fight (not wrestling match) served it’s purpose (to create hype for a PPV showdown) and Sting and Angle did a good job. That wasn’t really Sting’s kind of match but he did well enough, and both took some bumps, especially Angle falling from so high (I’m really surprised he didn’t blow out his knees).
I don’t know that we’ll get that one-on-one match with no interference, but if it does happen it will be on PPV, probably in a cage. Hmm, Lockdown IS coming in April…

Got something to say?
