What Are Your Thoughts On Bryan Danielson Signing With Wwe?
I was a little shocked. I am happy for him, but the WWE will probably screw him up just like they have every other great Indy wrestler (except CM Punk)

well i think they should ease him into the WWE picture, maybe even on ECW, because i think he would provide an immediate main-eventer for the ECW brand to possibly fued with Christian as a heel.
But i think he’ll most likely go to Smackdown and be put in the intercontinental title picture.
im VERY happy for him. I think its great that WWE is looking for ROH stars even if its because there going to start becoming competition on tv…but yeah its great news just like when low ki joined. oh and technically danielson didnt agree fully yet. but they are close and its pretty much set in stone though
Im happy and sad, the simple fact that WWE is even looking at ROH wrestlers is great but as you fear i do to, i don’t want to see WWE screw him up. But we will just have to see.
I’m from Australia and have no idea who that is, maybe that is a good thing, as i don’t have any preconceived ideas on the guy, so i won’t know if they are screwing him up or not.
Danielson is quite a wrestler, but something makes me think he’ll be buried in the WWE before being let go

Danielson has to do what he thinks is best for Danielson, but this is a bad break for ROH. Danielson is ROH’s biggest star and biggest draw.
Personally, I think Danielson is making a mistake. He has made a very good living wrestling all over the U.S. and Japan, and being ROH’s marquee player, for several years. That’s gone now. When you’re in the WWE Vince doesn’t allow you to work for any other promotion, even those in Japan. He will be stuck with whatever gimmick Vince sticks on him (good or bad) and he’s a very small fish in Vince’s pond (meaning no main events, no spotlights, and probably no championships for quite a while, if ever). Danielson signed away all of his independence. Now he’s at the complete mercy of Vince’s whims, for however long his contract lasts.
Vince will no doubt “water him down” as he does everybody who signs with the WWE. Not that Danielson is a high-flyer but he does pull off the occasional crazy stunt. Well, he used to; not in the WWE, though.
Unless Danielson has some hidden talents I don’t think he’s going to get very far in the WWE. He’s relatively small and doesn’t have the charisma or the mic skills of the typical WWE performer getting pushes.
He is an amazingly talented wrestler and I wish him the best. But I don’t think his WWE run will be successful.
