What The Heck Is The Ground Of A Wrestling Ring Made Of,and How Exactly Does It Feel When You Fall On It?

Ok so i have been thinking,When Diva’s get their face slammed into the ground of a wrestling ring..Does it hurt? Like does it feel like getting kicked in the face? Does it hurt less for a diva than a man? And lastly..Does it hurt whenever you just fall on the ground of a wrestling ring? Thanks!

Ok, I just started wrestling 2 weeks ago so I’ll start from the ground up. You got 4 metal posts, hook up the 4 metal sides to the posts.
There’s chain that hook up underneath to form an x across the bottom of the ring.
After that you put bent metal bars down and then about 25 wooden boards all the way across. 6 pieces of plywood on top of that and tape that down.
Foam padding on top of that and tape that down. Canvas goes over that and you ropes that to the ring. Then you hook up your ropes and tighten them and you have a ring.
Now falling on it doesn’t hurt as much as you think it does. Granted it still hurts but you are taught how to fall correctly. If you land on your upper back, around your shoulders, its not going to hurt you as much as it would to land on your *** or flat on your back. Running the ropes hurt more than bumps.

hi im zen raver im a trained wrestler, im going to answer ur question for you as they say we are trained to do moves saftley , ur first question when we fall it doesnt hurt but if a non trained person did it they would hurt them selfs. The ring comes in 4 parts and in the middle thier is a spring which gives it an bouncing effect then on top of the spring are boars which ahve padding on them.when a person gets thier face slammed in to the mat they bang their hand on the mat while their head hits their hand its what the pros call seling or faking if thier are any mre questions fell free to email me at dylanlove69@yahoo.com or dylanl_12@hotmail.com
    thank you

Of course they get hurt but they are trained professional. The damage will really be minor.

That’s a very good question, I’ve seen on TV the mats kinda bounce when you hit the ground very hard

    I guess that’s a question only a wrestler can answer….

Got something to say?
