I saw a figure of sting in a package that had the WWE logo on it. And Sting is on the cover of the new Starcaid DVD from WWE. What's up with that?

WWE owns the rights to WCW & it’s images, pictures, everything about the company. Thus, they have the right to market his image. Sting also receives a residual of the marketing profits.
