I think he was very underrated IMO. He was excellent at performing his Impaler DDT. His character was likable and i think he would have made an excellent European/Intercontinental Champion. He had a pretty decent move set like the Powerbomb, STF, Trapping Suplex, etc.
He was supposed to return to the roster last year with Kevin Thorn but then he put on weight and got released in January

Gangrel had a great entrance, gimmick, and finishing move, but his overall in-ring performance was CRAP.
He no sold a lot, and botched a lot

Because he didnt get much hype from the fans and even if its a small title you have to have at least have a lil bit of hype from the fans

i am not sure he was way cool, trained with Dean Kelenko and was with edge and christian, and the Hardyz for a while so he shoulda. but his gimmicks were pretty awesome,
